Your family matters.

The heartbeat of Project HOPE is to fortify and strengthen families and communities across the region by providing adult education classes to include life skills, anger management, drug and alcohol recovery, parenting education and mentorship.

Our mission and purpose is to meet and invest in the needs of those who are seeking a life-change, as well as work hand-in-hand with various municipal, county and state-run departments, such as drug courts across multiple counties, Mississippi Department of Corrections, Child Protective Services, among others.

Need a little hope? We can help.

Project HOPE serves individuals and families across Marion County, Tylertown, and Hattiesburg who are working toward stability, healing, and long-term change.

Our program offers structured, trauma-informed support through education, mentorship, and recovery-focused services. We meet people where they are and walk alongside them at every stage of their journey.

Anger Management

Our Anger Management program helps participants understand emotional triggers, develop self-regulation skills, and practice healthy responses to conflict. Through guided discussion and practical tools, individuals learn strategies that support personal growth, safer relationships, and long-term stability.

mentorship

Mentorship is a core part of Project HOPE. Participants are supported by trained staff and volunteers who provide guidance, accountability, and encouragement. Our goal is to walk alongside individuals as they rebuild their lives, strengthen decision-making, and move toward independence and purpose.

addiction Recovery

Project HOPE offers recovery support rooted in the Celebrate Recovery model, incorporating the 12 Steps and the 8 principle program. Participants engage in small-group discussions, accountability, and peer support designed to encourage healing, responsibility, and sustained recovery.

Parenting Skills

The Parenting Skills program is a structured, multi-week series that supports parents in developing healthy communication, discipline, and family dynamics. Sessions include guided instruction, real-life scenarios, and group discussion to help parents build safe, nurturing, and stable home environments.

Workforce Readiness

Workforce Readiness supports participants as they prepare to reenter the workforce and build sustainable independence. Services may include job readiness coaching, resume assistance, interview preparation, and help navigating common employment barriers such as identification, transportation, and work expectations. This support is offered in coordination with each participant’s recovery and personal goals.
