You are not alone.

Our behavioral health services include treatment of anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, addictive behaviors, and more. We serve all ages, including children, through the use of play therapy and age-appropriate therapeutic methods.

Our team uses EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy for trauma treatment. However, EMDR is not limited to trauma and can help treat a multitude of issues. If you’d like more information about this type of treatment, be sure to ask your therapist for details.

What to Expect in your First Therapy Session

Once you make your first appointment, you will receive intake forms and necessary documents by email to be filled out electronically.

Your first session is an opportunity for you and your therapist to get comfortable with each other. You’ll be able to share information about what you’re experiencing so that your therapist can create a treatment plan to specifically meet your needs.

During the first session, the therapist may ask:

  • What brought you to therapy?

  • What do you feel is wrong in your life?

  • What are your symptoms?

  • Some questions about your history, including your childhood, education, relationships, your living situation, and your career.

From your first session, you’ll begin to walk a path forward with your therapist to help you move towards peace and successful outcomes.
