Rooted in hope. Committed to community.
About Us
From a church ministry to a regional nonprofit.
Hope Community Collective was formally established in October 2019, building on more than two decades of a community ministry that began at Woodlawn Church in Columbia, Mississippi, in 1998. As these programs grew, community leaders recognized the need to expand their reach and create broader partnerships across South Mississippi.
That vision led to the formation of Hope Community Collective as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Today, we serve individuals and families through wrap-around, culturally responsive programs focused on recovery, mental health, food security, and family stability — spanning Marion, Forrest, Lamar, and Walthall counties.
Trauma-informed, community-based, built on trust.
We work in partnership with local courts, service providers, schools, and community organizations to ensure individuals and families receive coordinated services. Hope Community Collective is committed to supporting survivors of domestic violence, abuse, and human trafficking with safe, confidential, trauma-informed care.
